Hello, my name is Berna Lamers. Drawing, painting and animals have been my greatest passion since childhood. I started in 2004 with portraying people and pets. I work with different techniques in a realistic style. It is always a beautiful moment when I have been able to capture the soul of the person or pet in the portrait. Details like the look in the eyes and the attitude say so much about the character. Every portrait has a story and I am very grateful to be able to make it.
All my portraits are hand drawn or painted from photos using only the best materials. You can have a portrait drawn with pastel chalk or painted in oil or acrylic paint in any desired format. I also paint Christmas balls with dog and cat portraits or any other desired subject. In addition to commissioned portraits, I also make free work.

The portrait of Thijs was recently completed. Drawn with pastels 30 x 40 cm. The drawing is a keepsake.
The drawing of the beautiful horse Xanadu is finished. Made in commission as a keepsake, pastel chalk and pencil 21x30 cm.
For this assignment I drew animal portraits in a different format than usual. The customers wanted to have the drawings made for the frame that they had supplied themselves. Together we selected the appropriate photos. Each pet portrait is drawn with pastel pencils on pastel paper 17 x 23 cm. The painting was recently given as a gift. The recipient was very happy with it.
